Everything we needed
The Bower, cosy and tastefully decorated, had everything we needed during our stay. We slept well in the very comfortable bed after full days spent exploring this beautiful area on foot or on the X53 bus. We leave feeling rested, having enjoyed the fresh coastal breeze, cliff-top views, charming towns and an introduction to fossil-hunting. Thank you for the warm welcome and all the extras that helped to make our stay so wonderful.

Unique Gem
With a hospitality management background I probably set higher expectations than most. On the other hand I am probably one of the most appreciative of guests when I come across unique gems like the Bower with proprietors such as Heather and Steve – how wonderful and lovely they are! The Bower offers all facilities one can expect and the attention to detail is IMPRESSIVE!. The Bower is cosy, it’s spacious, it’s comfortable and a perfect fit into the local surroundings. Anyone can offer modern ‘city’ facilities with a capital injection. Very few can create a warm, welcome and friendly and relaxed atmosphere, be helpful yet not intrusive and instinctively offer a top class professional service, yet to Heather and Steve, all these things come both naturally and in the most sincere way. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return with family members.
