Very warm welcome to faultless accommodation, thank you. Rubbish weather! We loved Bridport, Slader’s Yard highly recommended. Also ate at River Cottage gaff in Axminster. Chesil Beach is amazing. Fascinating area to visit.

So much to do
A lovely few days away to round off the Easter holidays! Very easily spent the day in Lyme Regis – so much to do! Found our first ammonite, visited Dinowsaur land and the aquarium on the Cobb where we held a starfish and stroked a lobster. Also visited the Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth and had a cream tea in Branscombe before enjoying a scenic walk down to the beach. We enjoyed a very chilly ride on the tram – a hot chocolate at the station café once we got off was very welcome!

7th Visit
By my reckoning our 7th visit to the Bothy. We’ve seen our daughter grow up here! Her fossilling skills have developed to the extent she spotted a piece of ichthyosaur jawbone and teeth on the beach yesterday. Thanks again.
