At the end of December, The Bower and The Bothy both received Gold Award accreditation from Visit England – making Hill Barn Cottages “All Gold”.
You will find very few self catering properties in our area that hold such recognition for “exceptional quality accommodation and customer service”.
After many years of faithful service, our old web design has been retired, and we’ve got a new WordPress site, which gives us a lot more control and allows us to use modern media like Facebook easily.
We hope you find it as easy to use as the old site, and will come back to see what’s new in a few weeks.

We have totally loved our short break. Heather and Steve are superb hosts – so very helpful yet discreet. Having a 5-year old with us, we enjoyed fossil hunting on Charmouth beach and had two lovely meals out at Mark Hix’s Oyster & Fish House in Lyme Regis and River Cottage Canteen in Axminster.
